WALMART has hit even more backlash as people caught wind of a T-shirt and baby onesie that has the words “Impeach 45” inscribed on it. This was exactly what you think, a jab at the 45th US President, Donald Trump. This was not entirely Walmart’s fault, however.Walmart has a third-party selling program, similar to Amazon. This allows people who can produce a product and provide it online a chance to sell on the Walmart Marketplace, rather than the online giant; Amazon. The apparel can be traced back to Old Glory, a Connecticut-based company that sells shirts and other items. The online marketplace sells everything from button sets, backpacks, jewelry, posters, and more. They come from a wide array of sources, from lifestyles like LGBT, drugs and Celtic all the way to pop culture such as The Walking Dead, Star Wars, Game of Thrones, My Little Pony, and more. Of course, the controversy comes from a political shirt that can be found on Walmart’s online store. Ryan Fournier, Trump supporter and chairman of Trump Students, shown his destine for the apparel in a Tweet July 2nd.
Old Glory houses more than 10,000 politically-driven shirts with both right and left ideology, according to its President. This one just so happened to strike a cord that cost them a platform to sell their items on. They, of course, always have their website to sell on, however.
