MIKE POMPEO GIVES KIM JONG-UN "ROCKET
MAN" CD FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP
ACCORDING to reports from The Chosun Ilbo, Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo,
had a gift for the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un. What was this gift you ask?
An Elton John CD, of course!
This specific CD had the well-known song, Rocket
Man, on it. The gift also came with a letter from
Trump. This seems to be a reminder of when
Trump began calling the ruthless leader “Rocket
Man” last year when. It was also a topic during
Trump and Kim’s meeting in Singapore last month.
The topic of Trump’s coined nickname for Kim Jong-
un and the classic 1972 Elton John song; Rocket Man
came up. When asked by Trump if the song was
familiar to the leader, he was told no. This led Trump
to make sure the North Korean leader would know
exactly what he was talking about. Say what you want, but you can’t deny that
many of us want this to be true, even if there is no way of knowing for sure.
